It can be said that the Amazon rain forest is rain forests of Brazil .
Why should everyone around the world be concerned about the plight of the AMAZON RAIN FOREST? You might say, I live thousands of miles away, it has no effect on my life. This is where you are wrong as the future health of this ecosystem is critical to the basic life on earth everywhere! Occupying an area of roughly 1.2 billion acres, over 50% of the rain forest land of the world is in Brazil. Because it is so immense, the area is a key component to the very fabric of life as we know it on earth.
Most scholars would agree that the loss of the entire complex of the Brazilian Rain Forests, dominated by the Amazon Basin, would inevitably cause far-reaching and inconceivable negative climatic consequences around the globe resulting in:
1. Change the weather conditions around the globe.2. Increase droughts and deserts.3. Massive starvation for many people around the world.4. The loss of, easily, millions of plant and animal species, representing roughly ½ of all known (species) on earth.
Support training of local rain forest environmental groups have stepped up our cooperation, the impact of local government policy makers.

Nike SB Dunk High - Black - Red - Sample - Fall 2009

Nike Skateboarding has been working hard this year trying to keep their marquee Dunks hot as they move into the Blue Box era. We have seen a number of Nike SB Dunk Highs drop lately that seem to tickle the fancy of SB heads such as the un-Heaven’s Gate a while back and yellow/black SB High that came up recently. Along with recent releases, we have gotten a fair share of what lies ahead for Nike Skateboarding including an enigmatic catalog picture of the sample shown above. Scheduled for a fall 2009, this black/sport-red looks very promising as is styled with a mixture of what looks to be black and red suede along with a translucent red out-sole. Nike Womens Air Digs - Spring 2009

Towards the end of last year, we showed you an interesting Nike Retro release for the ladies, the Air Digs. The shoe was originally released in 1991 as a volleyball shoe, but thanks to its old school look and the current high-top renaissance, they seemed like a good fit for a re-release. This pair takes the shoe to a new level of street style, incorporating an overwhelming dose of color and patterns to make it stand out from the pack. Surrounding the white mesh underlay and black base is an explosion of color, using shades of purple, pink and turquoise on various textured sections of the upper, as well as a bright orange lining and laces. As far as wild colorful styles go, sneakers don’t get much more flamboyant than these. If any of you ladies are bold enough to flaunt these down the street, and we know you’re out there, you can cop a pair now at Standard.

Jordan Elements -

A lot of sneakerheads can’t be bothered with any Jordan models if they are not Retros or at least somehow based on a Retro, but the new Jordan Elements definitely deserves a look anyway. The Jordan Elements is a performance basketball sneaker from Jordan Brand that will be dropping in four colorways beginning this July and moving through the fall. The version pictured here will not be one of the colorways released for retail, but it gives you a chance to check out the design and plant the seeds of anticipation for the coming releases. This colorway was made exclusively for the Quai 54 International Streetball Tournament that is held in France each year. You may remember seeing the Air Jordan 1 that was created for the Jordan-sponsored event last year, and now it is the Elements that will get the spotlight.
The shoe uses several materials on different parts of the upper, combining black patent leather, mesh and textured leather. The blue translucent midsole is met by a black speckled rim along the top edge giving the sneaker some nice stylish touches. On these special edition pair, there is also a Quai 54 tongue label and a “Ruff N’ Tuff” tag inside the tongue. Nike Air Force 1 Supreme SP

Yesterday, we showed you a new Black/Mean Green Air Force 1 that was inspired by the Air Huarache and now we bring news of another colorway that takes the theme a step further. This Air Force 1 Supreme borrows another familiar Huarache colorway, using premium purple leather from the mid panel and eyelet section moving back towards the rear of the shoe. The mudguard and toe box contrast the deep purple hue with a rich untreated black leather. The shoe also features a white Swoosh and a purple midsole with white stitching and accents. A translucent outsole allows the heel Air section to peek through and also displays a Nike Huarache logo on the bottom of the sole. The Air Huarache logo is also used for the tongue label, similar to the blue/green and white on white Air Force 1/Air Huarache hybrids that have already been previewed. Unfortunately, these are currently only available in the U.K. and through NikeStore Europe, but we’re hoping that they will make their way Stateside. Nike SB Dunk High -

Sneakerheads either love or hate Nike SB Dunk Mid’s strap, but most were thrilled to see the ‘Sea Crystal’ treatment on a new pair of Mids. The Nike SB Dunk Mid Premium pictured above differ from the original Highs, in that they feature ice green on the entire upper. This rich suede finds contrasts in a black leather Swoosh, lining and outsole, while the white midsole adds a mild touch. These will probably drop sometime next month to US Nike SB accounts, but you can have them now from Arktz

The May 2009 lineup from Nike SB is one of the strongest we’ve seen in a long time. Among the big hits here are the ‘Band Aid’-like Dunk Low Pros along with another lowtop Dunk in grey, blue, black and orange. The assortment of Dunks is rounded out with a pair of Mids perfect for Laker fans. While Dunks might be the most successful SB shoe, the new (and last) pair of P-Rod IIs in a Supreme-like colourway might be the most pleasing out of the entire bunch. Nike air force one new shoes on sale

Nike has released one more Nike Air Force 180 to go with the recent releases of the shoe in both a black/maize colorway and a white/obsidian colorway. The latest version of the 180 comes in a black/red-maize colorway with very well thought out uses of the colors throughout the shoe. The sole is featured in all black with a lot of red on the mid-sole and maize visible in the Nike Air bubble. The upper comes in a mostly all black nubuck along with some synthetic materials, accompanied by a red Swoosh and red details along the laces. This pair of sneakers is the new Nike SB Dunk High to be released in Fall 2009. Nike has not yet announced the official date for the release of these shoes.
The New Nike SB Dunk High is artistically designed by using a combination of suede and leather textile. The dominant part of this sneakers is made of a suede material with the leather only found on the Nike swoosh on the side panels. This suede material is highlighted in hazelnut brown which is seen on the entire upper and includes accents of gray found on the suede front area and blue on the Nike swoosh.
The style of these shoes includes a brown mesh fabric material on the tongue for air ventilation and comfort.

It seems like Nike will never run out of ideas when it comes to modifying their sneakers as they present another version of their Nike SB Dunk Mid Premium which we have seen them released many time already on the past years and also this year.
For this latest version, Nike is giving it a different touch on the material as they created this with full suede upper.
